Flash is the Cipher scanner that surfaces positioning setups as those setups form and ranks each setup by an edge score calibrated against realised results.
What does Cipher Flash scan for?
Flash scans for recognised positioning setups such as a rejection at a call wall, a bounce from a put wall, and a confirmed break of the gamma flip level. Each detected setup arrives with the level involved and the price that would invalidate the setup.
How is the Flash edge score calculated?
The Flash edge score is fitted against realised outcomes from thousands of historical setups rather than assigned by intuition. The score weights setup type, confirmation quality, distance to the level and the prevailing volatility regime into a single comparable number.
What edge score is worth acting on?
The Obsidian desk treats the published gate as the minimum threshold for consideration and reserves full size for scores well above that gate. A higher score reflects a historically better expectancy profile, and never a guarantee about any individual future trade.
